Iatridis Estate started its activities with the aim of highlighting the special characteristics of the region, where the ancients had brought the cultivation of the vine from their lost homelands.
The area has a typical Mediterranean climate, and the family vineyards are planted in linear rows on hilly terrains with sandy loam soils that face the Aegean Sea and receive positive influences from it.
Cultivation on the estate is governed by mild operations friendly to nature and the environment
The charismatic native and international grape varieties have been cultivated on the estate by the Iatridis family for many years, with the unique purpose of expressing themselves best in the wines produced in the microclimate of Lakkoma. The management of vineyard enemies and diseases in this environment is carried out using gentle means, following the principles of Integrated Management. The wines produced on the estate bear the classification PGI Halkidiki (Protected Geographical Indication Halkidiki), which attests to the excellent adaptation of the grape varieties to the characteristic microclimate of the region.
